My Office

As the sky leans backward over the artists laugh,
we can now, not now, recite poems surreal...

The mice in the belfry were
micing amongst themselves
as they were gnawing at the the clock
of the ever decreasing dawn .
The river Eridanus lay
quivering against the sky
A cat yawned, the giraffe prayed,
the scorpion drank away,
the seven yearly sisters
watching in the sky-
Betelgeuse and Rigel,
Marmaduke and Spam,
the great ocean dwellings,
the great mystic hams.

You- all pervading sphere of delight,
all of the words, in all the spaces of the night,
could not tell of the love i suppress for you.
Infamy gains the right unseen,
Of all the places we have been.

Now? My Love? My now love?
Love of the glassy mountains?
Love of the nowness of the verdant deserts?
Love, by the grinder of your mind?
So it be love, of our love of our love from our love by our love for the love of the love of - life.
